It’s March 1st
and it’s cheese.
Today, in music class, Noelle and I decided to verify with our teacher something we learned from Next to Normal about Mozart. So I raise my hand and ask “is it true that Mozart was crazy?” Then Noelle says “yeah, did he have a mental illness or something?”
Now thanks to Natalie and Next to Normal, my music teacher thinks we’re very interested in Mozart. Butkissers.

The best thing that happened today was seeing Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo host my friend Jo’s debut. I’ve loved Menchu ever since I saw the first run of Next to Normal in the Philippines (she played Diana).
I want to say that going to Jo’s debut was the best thing that happened today, but I thought that it had to be more specific than that since the debut went on for a quarter of the day.
Menchu was the fairy god mother who hosted the party and from the moment I heard her voice when she came out, I just knew it was her. To confirm that it really was her, I saw my friend Anissa scurrying to my table with a huge amused face. She sang two songs (or was it three?) and they just completed my and the Barrio’s night.
